August 2009 - US Foods has developed two new product lines, Soy Protein Crisps and Ready-to-Eat Soy Protein cereals using a unique, hexane-free Soy Protein Isolate (SPI) that is available organic certified and non-GMO. These Soy Protein Isolates are processed using a gentle and unique process. This means an SPI with less toxic pollutants like pesticides, herbicides, man-made fertilizers and harsh processing aids (hexane) and no genetically modified organisms (GMOs). The result is an SPI with a neutral flavor profile, light color, high functionality and high protein content.

Performance Chemicals & Ingredients Company was formed in 2006 to acquire and manage specialty chemical and food ingredient businesses.
